About the Role

This is an exciting time to be joining Colas Ltd. As the business grows, the resourcing function is going through transformation and reviewing our service to our customers. We are looking for a resourcing partner to join us on this journey and help us improve everything we do as a function.

The key focus of this role is to deliver the resourcing strategies across all business units within Colas Ltd. This role will be recruiting for specialist positions as well as high volume roles, including permanent and temporary opportunities from junior to senior level roles.

The Resourcing Partner will work closely with the regional team and managers up to director level, ensuring the people strategy is met through sourcing relevant skills to meet strategic objectives and building good relationships to support the business’ recruitment needs.

As well as being responsible for the end to end recruitment process for your area of the business, you’ll also be involved in continuous improvement projects within the function. These projects include PSL reviews, candidate engagement and attraction strategies.

About you

You’ll be a subject matter expert across all areas of recruitment and resourcing. It’s likely you’ll have a background within in-house recruitment and ideally, within the construction and civil engineering sector. You should be a proven resourcing practitioner with the ability to constructively challenge an approach and offer workable and creative solutions and be able to find new solutions to historic issues.

You’ll bring proven partnering experience with stakeholders at all levels and have excellent relationship management skills.

Experience of working with employer branding projects would be an advantage. You should be competent with direct sourcing skills within competitive markets and be able to produce ad-hoc project level reporting as needed.

Your communication skills, both verbal and written, will be first class and you’ll be able to influence outcomes through your relationships.
