About the Role
Colas IOM Ltd are currently seeking a Quarry Manager to be based at our Billown quarry in the Isle of Man.
The Quarry Manager is responsible for the safe and efficient running of the quarry, asphalt & waste operations business units, in accordance with all applicable legislation and company procedures.
This position carries with it the 8.1c responsibility under the Quarry Regulations 1999.

About you
The successful candidate will have a minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role or Industry discipline, be able to demonstrate the energy and drive necessary to lead the team and carry out the duties required; which may require working long periods and unsociable hours from time to time. The candidate will also have a strong commitment to Health & Safety, Business Improvement, Quality and Environmental principles and a drive to deliver innovation, sustainability and continuous improvement.
Above all, your commitment to business success and customer care must be second to none. You will be able to communicate at all levels, both internally and externally and be passionate about what you do.
You will also have:
- A flexible approach
- Good IT Skills in MS Word and Excel
- An eye for detail
- A full clean driving licence
- Self-motivation
