Civil Skilled Operatives

Location: Leeds

About the Role

Due to the continued success of our Leeds office, we are currently looking to employ a number of skilled operatives. Undertaking all aspects of highway civil works including drainage, and gully installations, kerbing, hand lay surfacing and modular paving. Assisting with efficient delivery of all secured contracts whilst ensuring the compliance with all quality procedures and safe working practices, undertaking all works to the highest possible health, safety and environmental standards.

Skilled operatives will be involved in physical work along with operating appropriate plant and machinery such as 360 diggers above and below 10 ton, heavy goods vehicle (HIAB) class 1 & 2, dumpers and rollers.

About you

Candidates will have the appropriate CPCS ticket will be NRASWA accredited and have previous experience of working on highways and civil engineering projects.

You will also have:

- Working knowledge of health and safety

- A full clean driving licence

- A good work ethic

- The ability to work within a team

- The willingness to learn

- Excellent communication skills

- Knowledge of the industry

- Good problem solving skills

- Decent written and oral skills

- Demonstration of flexibility and adaptability
