Colas praised by SITA

Colas' Construction Projects team have received praise from SITA
for their 'design and build' work at the Hanworth recycling
facility, Greater London.
SITA Construction Project Manager, Kevin Emery, said of Colas:
"As construction work at the Hanworth recycling facility has come
to an end this week, I wanted to take this opportunity to express
my feelings as to how the project has been managed and carried
out.
Colas' Construction Projects team have done a fantastic job
delivering this site. They have clearly been involved in measures
to save time and money to SITA - which is always welcome. The
design of the site was developed to suit the situation once works
had begun, and as a client I felt fully up to date and involved in
the process.
The manor with which difficult aspects of the project, such as
contamination works, were dealt with meant that there was no delay
to the delivery date - in fact, the site has been completed ahead
of schedule.
There was never any confrontation or disagreements and every
issue was approached in a proactive manner. The team on site were
also fantastic. On some sites there can be a divide between client
and workforce. But the operations team there have really done Colas
proud."
This praise once again serves as an excellent example of Colas'
'We Go Further' work ethic in practice - understanding clients'
needs and working to provide innovative solutions.
