StreetPrint, a patented and licensed system, is a recent addition to the Colas external landscaping and decorative surfacing portfolio. The process provides an innovative paving solution that combines the flexibility and strength of asphalt with leading edge coating technology to produce realistic brick, slate, stone and other design effects on new or existing asphalt bases. The result is a cost effective, durable surface with low maintenance requirements.
Installation equipment has been purpose designed with unique heating components to provide superior and consistent results.
StreetPrint can be applied to new and existing asphalt surfaces that are in a good or adequate condition by our specially trained and licensed operatives. The process begins with the asphalt being heated, followed immediately by woven steel templates being pressed into the warm asphalt. Within a short time the templates are removed, leaving the pattern impressed on the surface of the asphalt. Finally, high performance coatings are sprayed on the surface.
