Colas Isle of Man Billown Coating Plant
A new coating plant installed near Cross Four Ways at Ballasalla in the south of the island produces a comprehensive range of British Standard bitumen macadams. During 2002, thin overlays and stone mastic asphalts were added to the product range.
Products supplied from Billown:
- 0/20 open grade
- 0/32 dense grade
- 0/20 dense grade
- 0/10 open grade
- 0/10 dense grade
- 0/6 dense grade
- 0/6 medium grade
All products are available in both 100/150 penetration mixes (machine grade) or 160/220 penetration mixes (hand applied).
Also available:
- coated sealing grit
- SMA
- other grades and coated macadam available on request
