Bitucrete
Bitucrete is a cold applied, deferred set, storage grade macadam - ideal for instant, high quality temporary repairs to concrete or bituminous surfaces. Available in a variety of grades, Bitucrete can be used for footway repairs, patching, reinstatements and temporary surfacing. Bitucrete provides an immediate cure for potholes in car parks, roads, drives and many other surfaces. The formulation contains a combination of penetration grade bitumens, additives and selected aggregates. High PSV granite or basalt aggregates makes it suitable for all classes of road and footway. It has a storage life of up to six months (in sealed bags in a building heated above 10°C). The material cures by a combination of air drying and compaction. Applications include filling potholes and worn areas, reinstating trenches in lightly trafficked surfaces and temporary ramping off for high kerbs and exposed ironwork. Bitucrete is available in 25kg sealed bags. It can also be supplied on pallets (40 x 25kg) or in bulk.
