Jointfill A2
Colas Jointfill A2 is a rubberised bitumen hot applied horizontal joint sealant compound designed to be tough, flexible and have good extension properties over a wide range of temperature. Inclusion of adhesion promoting agents means that no primer is required under normal circumstances, but it is important to follow the procedures given in the Colas Technical Information Sheet.
Jointfill A2 is ideal for the sealing of horizontal expansion joints on carriageways, runways and other pavements. It retains flexibility at temperatures down to 0°C and has good recovery properties.
Available in 20kg 4-ply sacks, one sack will seal about 30 linear metres of joint 25mm wide by 25mm deep.
