Ex-situ Road Recycling
As an alternative to the in-situ recycling processes, the existing surface can be planed-off and transported to a nearby self-contained plant, either for re-use at the site or for use in a later project.
At the plant the planings can be mixed with other recycled products such as glass, china clay, crumb rubber etc. Greater quality control can be maintained at the plant, enabling a consistently formulated mix.
Recycol
Recycol bitumen emulsion is formulated to ensure that the bitumen mainly coats the finest aggregate particles, forming a rich bituminous mortar that encapsulates the larger aggregates and binds them together under compaction.
Foam Mix
The Foam Mix process preferentially attaches tiny specks of bitumen to the finest aggregate particles. It is particularly effective in dealing with cold, damp aggregates and can process prepared construction waste and other marginal materials.
