Environment
For many years, we have been developing improved processes for the highways surfacing industry. We are proud that our work on developing bitumen emulsion binders and in-situ road recycling processes has made a major contribution towards sustainable highway maintenance.
Our Environmental Management System meets the requirements of ISO14001:2004 and ensures we proactively manage our operations to minimise our impact on the environment. Colas Limited achieved its first ISO 14001 registration in 2001 and we have completed its roll-out to all our principal locations.
