Colas - International Group
Our parent company is Colas SA, based in France. Colas works on every continent in over 40 countries with a workforce of over 60,000, half of whom work outside of France.
Roads make up 82% of the Group’s activity. Colas is also involved in civil engineering, airports, motor racing circuits, utility infrastructure, waterproofing, building, railways and pollution clean-up.
In 2005, Colas Group turnover was €9.5 billion and net profit €307 million.
In 2005, Colas produced:
- 101.1 million tonnes of aggregates
- 1.5 million tonnes of emulsions and binders
- 53.8 million tonnes of asphalt mix
